Queens County SeaFest! 10th Annual Fishing Derby and Community Festival
If you know anything about the history of Queens County, then you know that even before European settlement began hundreds of years ago, the area around what would become the community of Brooklyn has been a hot spot for fishing and all things ocean related. That's why it should come as no surprise that this August, Brooklyn will play host to the Queens County SeaFest once again.The three-day celebration runs from August 27 to 29 at the Brooklyn Waterfront Park & Marina.
Our new Liverpool Visitor Information Centre is now open and our dedicated staff is ready to greet you! Our VIC is open 7 days a week from 9:00 to 7:00. Should you arrive after hours, we offer free WiFi so you can access this site and NovaScotia.com! You can call our VIC during open hours at 902-354-5421. Our Caledonia Visitor Information Centre is also open and the team in North Queens is excited to welcome you to the area! Open weekdays 9-5, Saturdays 10-7, Sunday 12-7 July 1st they will be open 9-5, July 2 from 9-7. They can be reached at 902-682-2470.
