Perhaps you've seen this sign on your way into Queens?  Well, Queens is one of five counties making up the UNESCO Southwest Nova Biosphere Reserve!  Because of the incredible uniqueness of our natural world and our ability to live within it, the United Nations designated this end of Nova Scotia as a place of special significance.  Queens is extremely proud of this designation and we look forward to celebrating our land and culture with you!  For more information on the UNESCO Southwest Nova Biosphere, visit their website.
