You take the first steps on the warm white sand. A wave crashes on the shore and you feel a gentle mist settle on your face. You spread out your towel, take out your book, and for the time that follows you are free. The pristine beaches of Queens County are known far and wide for their white sands, rocky shores and great surfing conditions. Offering a shoreline of great contrasts, you can walk along a deserted beach (at any time of the year) or you can go to one of our more popular spots where you can join a volleyball game, build a sandcastle, surf, or commune with the other sun worshippers.
For years, our beaches have been one of our best kept secrets, a secret we are now sharing with you.
